{"id":737,"date":"2020-12-09T22:00:14","date_gmt":"2020-12-09T22:00:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fcsinterns1708.firstcomdemo.com\/val\/mitech\/?post_type=careers&#038;p=737"},"modified":"2022-11-21T06:50:41","modified_gmt":"2022-11-21T06:50:41","slug":"mechanical-design-engineer","status":"publish","type":"careers","link":"https:\/\/www.mitech-ltd.com.sg\/cn\/careers\/mechanical-design-engineer\/","title":{"rendered":"Mechanical Design Engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Part of a team to conceptualize and design automation manufacturing equipment (and sub-systems) based on customers\u2019 requirements<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Interface with customers on technical discussions from design proposal stage to commissioning of machine\/equipment at customers\u2019 site.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Conversion and detailing of mechanical designs into mechanical drawings for assembly<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Preparation of engineering technical documents<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Ensure that design work comply with industry codes, safety standards and other regulatory requirements based on established engineering practices<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Support Project Manager in project costing and project management;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Assist in the selection and procurement of technical components\/material parts throughout the RFQ\/Design phase with emphasis on design standardization for cost savings and design for manufacturability<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Involved directly in assembly of the equipment together with the manufacturing team to ensure that the equipment functions according to the desired design and to improve and fine tune the design if necessary<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Involved in onsite installation of equipment both local and overseas including post-technical support.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n<strong>MAIN JOB SPECIFICATIONS \/ REQUIREMENTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Degree\/ Diploma in Mechanical\/Mechatronics Engineering<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Min 3 years of factory automation equipment design experience<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Familiar with engineering material selection and analysis tools such as DOE, SPC, FMEA<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Preferably with knowledge of Pro-Engineering<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Strong technical background in equipment manufacturing process and engineering design inputs<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Good analytical and systematic problem-solving skills<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","career_category":[87],"career_countries":[99],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v15.5 -
