Assignments may involve C# and PLC programming separately or in combination.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">He \/ She will be involved in each phase of the PC\/PLC software development process right up to equipment buy-off including post technical support.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">To assist in planning, organizing, coordinating and implementing projects in timely manner to ensure schedules and customers\u2019 requirements are met.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n<strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Consults with customers and\/or other departments on project status, proposals and technical issues such as software system design and maintenance.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Utilizes PC\/PLC to develop control signals, implement control algorithms and measure process variables such as temperatures, pressures and positions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Design and develop PC\/PLC software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Direct software programming and development of documentation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Writes application software to<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">&#8211;\u00a0 Monitor equipment status, operation, and function<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">&#8211;\u00a0 Ensure system operates in conformance with specifications<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">&#8211;\u00a0 Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Develops and directs software system testing and validation procedures.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Modifies existing software to correct errors, to adapt it to new hardware or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Consults with engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, develop specifications and performance requirements and resolve customer problems.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Provides technical support and instruction to staff and customers regarding software standards and troubleshooting<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Develops detailed design for machines\u2019 HMI \/ UI.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Writes technical reports, manuals and technical support documentation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Provide technical support and instruction to staff and customers regarding electrical equipment standards and troubleshooting.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Responsible for any other role as assigned by the Supervisor<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n<strong>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Degree\/Diploma in Electrical, Mechatronics, Technology, Computer Science or an equivalent degree in a related technical field.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Relevant experience working with multi-disciplined project teams, in an automation or system integration environment with exposure across various industries.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Well-versed in MS C# software design.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Knowledge in software and hardware design specializing in PLC programming preferably on Allen Bradley, Omron and BeckHoff.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Ability to work independently in designing and liaising with customers on technical specifications and requirements.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Possess an excellent manufacturing or process engineering background, a superior mechanical aptitude and proven trouble-shooting skills.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Knowledge of MES.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Good presentation and communication skills.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Excellent project management ability.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","career_category":[89],"career_countries":[99],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v15.5 -
